Step by Step
The Process
Consultation + Project Review
We review project goals, inspect the space, and discuss project scope, feasibility, and next steps.
Project Development + Design
Following proposal acceptance, a pre-construction fee is collected to begin initial project development and design. Architectural plans, permitting, and project estimates are finalized. Planning and approvals may take approximately 4–8 weeks.
Estimate + Contract Execution
Architectural plans, permitting, and project estimates are finalized. A detailed contract is executed outlining scope, timeline, payment schedule, and warranty terms.
Mobilization + Procurement
Materials, selections, scheduling, and project preparation are coordinated prior to construction start. Timely selections help keep the project on schedule.
Installation + Construction
Construction progresses through active work phases and major project milestones. Your project manager keeps you informed throughout with regular updates and walkthroughs.
Substantial Completion
Major project work and installations have been completed as the project nears closeout. A completion walkthrough is conducted to review the finished work together.
Final Closeout + Occupancy
Final closeout items and permit approvals are completed prior to handoff. All remaining touch-ups and final details are resolved before keys are handed over.
Warranty + Follow-Up
Following completion, your project enters the warranty and support phase. Slaten Building Co. remains available for warranty support, follow-up questions, and future service needs. Warranty terms will be outlined in your project agreement.
